Custom Stamp for Grazers of Ashby Parva

Will Sanders:

For this project, I was commissioned by Grazers of Ashby Parva, a small business specialising in selling 100% grass-fed, sustainably and ethically produced meats. Run from their small family farm, Grazers contacted me and asked me to design them a stamp which would personalise the brown paper bags and cardboard hampers which they package their high quality meats in.

While one of the stamps needed to be the business logo, the other was commissioned with a much looser brief; Jess Lacey, business owner of Grazers, asked me to make a stamp which was “something fun and eye-catching”, that would ” be instantly recognisable as a piece of Grazers merchandise”. With this in mind I immediately set to work thinking of meat-related puns, and eventually came up with “More than MEATS the eye”. When accompanied by the Grazers logo, the two stamps work seamlessly together to give an overall uniquely distinct and eye-catching look which mirrors the degree of class and quality of the meat inside the branded packaging.

Jess says:

“We couldn’t be happier with Will’s work; he took on-board everything we asked for, and delivered with an impressive degree of professionalism and individualism. We love using the stamps on our packaging, and cannot believe the difference a simple stamp can make to a brown paper bag!”

Hand-carved rubber stamp such as these are a simple way of putting your mark on anything and everything. Mounted onto a solid oak handle, these stamps are a high quality piece of simple and effective merchandise.
